This is the category where Arlo ultra 2 blows up Pro 4 and pro 5S. it offers 4K camera resolution . The field of view is higher covering 20 Degree more at 180. Even with higher field of view it doesn’t have fisheye effect so you can be less assured. Camera picture quality is detailed, and in nice color during the day and night.
It also offers Dual motion sensor when it comes to motion range detection.
4K camera of Alro Ulta 2 is so much better. It is one of the very few security camera available in market can offer it . The colors are clean, detailed and picture quality is amazing.

Arlo Pro 4
Arlo Pro 4 cameras has a built in wi-fi which allows it to connect it to your home wifi network. You can use the Arlo App to setup notifications and get notified.
After your cloud trail period ends you have 2 options for storage either you get the base station or pay monthly to arlo for cloud storage. Because it has inbuilt WIFI and you do not wish to store you can still use the camera. If you decide to use local base station you will need external thumb drive or hard drive to store the recorded video. you can use arlo app to see the video using home wifi network.
When it comes to App connectivity it works perfectly well with Amazon Alexa, Google Home/ Assistance , HomeKit, and IFTTT.
Arlo Pro 4 has noise and echo cancellation .
Arlo Pro 5S
Similar to Arlo Pro 4 camera Arlo Pro 5S also has built in wifi which allows it to connect to your home wifi network. It has connectivity to the arlo app for notifications.
Same as Arlo pro 4 after your trail period ends you have two options for storage 1) Go for cloud subscription service with monthly charge or 2) local storage hub with your own storage.
Arlo Pro 5s has 1 advantage over Arlo pro 4 is it offers faster video loading, and less buffering with due to 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wifi networks
Arlo Pro 5S also offers noise and echo cancellation.
Arlo Ultra 2
There is a major down point about arlo Ultra 2 is it doesn’t comes with Wi-Fi so you cant connect it with your local wifi home network but only with router and uploading your video to cloud where you need to pay cloud subscription.
if you decide to use local storage hub you can store the videos/ footage using micro SD card but you cant view it through the app as of now.
Notification on Arlo ultra 2 are quite similar to other two cameras. it works well.
Apart from Noise and echo cancellation like arlo Pro 5s and 4 it offers wind noise cancellation. so if you are living in windy area this could be a plus.
