The Final Verdict
It was a bit of a difficult choice. The designs of both are nice so we felt that this wouldn’t affect our decision. The BenQ HT1075 did have enough improvements to capture our attention. The additional lumens were a help, but most would agree that the biggest benefit is the HDMI + MHL and the USB port. With this alone, you can plug your USB streaming devices straight into the BenQ HT1075. When you add the lower price, in some cases even a couple of hundred, then we felt this projector was the better buy. We do however recommend making sure you purchase from a vendor who offers a valid warranty—just in case.
